No. You are responsible for insuring the contents of your unit. Many homeowner policies already cover personal storage, so check with your personal insurance agent. We highly recommend insuring your items
It’s highly unlikely. We work very hard through building design, and drainage management to keep water out of our buildings. We are 50 ft above the 500 year flood plain, so the risk of flooding is extremely low.
Light condensation is rare, but it may occur because of our humid climate. We have many safeguards against condensation like a vapor barrier in floor/ceiling as well as insulation in the ceiling.
We do not recommend setting cardboard boxes on the concrete because in the event of condensation your boxes could get soggy. We recommend that you set your items on pallets or store them in plastic tubs for extra measure against the elements.
We highly recommend plastic tubs (with lids) that are readily available. They allow for easy stacking, organization, dust control, and spill containment.
See our contract for complete details, but anything that is hazardous or illegal to own is not allowed. We also ask you not to store anything that might attract rodents (like pet food).

Indoor units are typically located inside of a building on the property. Many indoor facilities are in multi-story buildings with elevator access and wide hallways. Outdoor units are frequently on one-level with and have drive-up access. All of our units are outdoor units with drive up access.
A drive-up unit has a roll-up door and its own loading area. Just drive up to it and load your belongings in or out.
Roll-up doors are very similar to garage doors and are accessed by sliding a latch and lifting the door upward. Roll-up doors are the most common door in self-storage and are bigger than most doors allowing tenants to maximize the space of their unit.
To ensure the highest level of security, we highly recommend a disc lock, also known as a cylinder lock. We will provide you with a disc lock when you rent a unit from us.
Superior Self Storage wants to make your storage experience a stress-free experience, including paying your bill.
Our leases are month-to-month and we offer the convenience of AutoPay. We can automatically debit your checking or savings account each month so you don’t have to hassle with writing checks!
We do not require a damage deposit when you move in. You are responsible for any damage that you cause to our units, however the extremetly low number of incidents doesn't justify the hassle of a refundable deposit. See your contract for more details.
